SAQA Art Quilt Exhibition – “Art Quilters Celebrate Independence” in New Hope, PA. November 15 to December 13, 2026.
“Art Quilters Celebrate Independence” is a juried, touring exhibition featuring artwork by members of Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA) of Pennsylvania in honor of the 250th anniversary of the United States. Juried by award-winning fiber artist Jill Kerttula, the show features 39 innovative quilted artworks that explore the broad meaning of independence, freedom of expression, and democratic values in our country today, while showcasing exciting conceptual and technical departures from quilting tradition that affirm the art quilt as a contemporary fine art medium.Open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, November 15-December 13, 2026, 1:00-5:00 pm.
In addition, special guest Meg Cox will present an all-new talk, “Art Quilts: An Introduction for Art Lovers + Collectors” on November 17 at 7:30 pm.
On two special Thursdays, November 19 and December 3, quilt guilds are invited to enjoy a 50% discount on admission for groups of 10 or more.

Quilt Lovers – A Special Exhibit!
Some members are planning a trip to the Pearl S. Buck House in Perkasie, PA, to see “Pieced Together: American Quilts Across Generations.” The exhibit features quilts spanning from the Civil War era to contemporary art quilts.
A group of members is going to this exhibit on October 13th at 11 am. A second group will be going on October 21st at 11 am.

- Quilts in the Mill Quilt Show by Courthouse Quilters in Prallsville Mills, Route 29, Stockton, NJ- Friday, October 16th, and Saturday, October 17th, 2026. The show runs from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day.
This will be their 16th biennial quilt show, with the first held in 1991. This exciting two-day event will take place at the Prallsville Mills, Route 29, Stockton, New Jersey. Admission is $12, and tickets are $10 each when you buy 10 or more together.
As a historic landmark, the Prallsville Mills itself is a beautiful attraction, and its spacious interiors provide the perfect backdrop for displaying the more than 150 handmade quilts.
